Test Anita Active Momentum sports bra

To do sports without constraints while firmly supporting the chest and thus avoid injuries or other unpleasant discomfort, or even that it ends up getting damaged, there are specific bras of which the Anita Active brand is one of the specialists. We have testIt is a high-end Momentum model. Verdict after several intense sessions under very hot conditions.

To us, the sportswomen, the runners, the triathletes, the dancers, the fitness girl and so on, those who are looking for comfort, support, to accumulate sessions without worrying about our neckline: yes we like to be comfortable! I would have a hard time representing the female population of small breasts with my 90D that I have been carrying around without difficulty since I was 13... I am 42: my breasts and I know each other well now, even since I became a keen sportswoman (late in life, but not without ambition).

The importance of a suitable bra

The question is open and arises on the use or not of a bra well adapted to one's sport.Opinions differ quite a bit on the subject, even if the medical profession seems almost unanimous on its interest. For my part, with a very compressive tri-suit, I have already done long-distance triathlons without wearing anything and I did not die from it. Nevertheless, after 21 km hitting the asphalt, I still felt the weight of this chest. So no, breasts don't fall off straight away if you run a half marathon without a bra, let's stop the urban legends! But jI have testIt's also the bra that holds so much that it compresses, with even breathing being a bit difficult at times, with block support in “single-breast” mode and which also causes burns with the cardio belt under the ribs under the breasts, at the seams, closures, straps, folds etc.

Comfort during exercise depends first and foremost on good design.

This type of burn takes a while to disappear and leaves marks on the skin.I am a runner I am a Warrior… Yeah, well… It’s not very aesthetic, you can do sports without getting marked. For the record, I found a way around it: a nice tattoo under my chest to hide the remains of my various fights, it distracts attention. We do what we can, eh!

Comfort and support

The Anita Active Momentum bra is therefore not the first of its kind that I teste. We are talking more specifically about sports bras because there are two cups, which do not forget the roundness of each breast and separate them well. And that makes a big difference.. No single block design therefore, and you have to choose your size carefully (but you normally know it ladies!). Inside the cups there is a fabric that is a bit like peach skin. It is indeed very soft and absorbent, a sort of big fluffy cocoon, without being too hot.

We are talking more specifically about a sports bra here because there are two cups, which do not forget the roundness of each breast and separate them well.

Relatively well adjusted, the size is good. When I received it, it seemed huge to me but no, in fact, no extra space! A pleasant and soft high-tech material, I approve. A quick word about the packaging since I am talking about my first contact with the product. Some of my male acquaintances - what a dirty mind! - had the impression of seeing packaging that evoked for them a product sold in very specialized stores, for adults. However, I have already worn a little sexier as a sports bra.

The packaging can be a little confusing!

Heatwave proof

The material is advertised as breathable and moisture-wicking with quick drying. During my test on a very hot day when it was well over 35 degrees, I had the idea of wetting it and going for a run with it. I found it quite nice to keep my chest cool and it prevented me from overheating. Over 5 km during this run in extreme conditions, it was a bit too short to get an idea.

The Anita Active Momentum proved to be comfortable even in very hot weather.

In terms of comfort, the Momentum benefits from wide straps, with an adjustable elastic band that provides firm support. Note that you must first adjust the strap well, neither too high nor too low. I appreciate the seamless finish to avoid friction. Concerning the cardio belt, you must put it on first and then the bra. Either it slides underneath, or it can go on top. Over a 10 km I did not feel any discomfort!

The straps provide a lot of comfort.

So I ran with this bra, did yoga, cycled, I even dared to run with the cycling suit open on top to be cooler. I wore it wet, then dry and was able to sweat in it at leisure. I put it in the washing machine many times in a very short time.

Upscale

The Anita Active Momentum sports bra does its job well, providing comfort and support, plus a nice finish.. In terms of price, we are on a slightly higher than average rate. The price of the bras is around €45, while the public price of this model is €65. It is a small budget when you put everything together, but it is not the kind of thing that you change as often as a pair of running shoes. Also note the choice of colors. Personally, I'm not very fuchsia pink but this one is still quite discreet (no candy pink, phew!).

Several colors are available.
