TRIATHLON – Ironman 70.3 World Championship Nice 2019: Laurent Jalabert and Alexandre Vinokurov win titles

Both qualified for the Ironman 70.3 Nice 2019 world championship (1.9-90-21), Laurent Jalabert et Alexandre Vinokurov both won their age group rankings and thus became World Champions.

The Frenchman won in the 50-54 age category. After an average swim of 35'23, "Jaja" set the best cycling time in 2h31'07 (59th overall time) and the 4th fastest run in his category in 1h22'32 for an average pace of 3'55/km (287th overall time). The Mazamet native completed the course in 4h34'55, in 1st place in his age group (356 at the start) and finished 173rd overall.
