Positioned at the front of the race, Cassandre Beaugrand had to abandon the final of the 2nd round of the Super League Triathlon 2019 in Malta after her derailleur broke. The victory went to the American Katie Zaferes. Second Frenchwoman in this final, Léonie Périault took 6th place.
