The 2021 Wish One Gravel Race lived up to its promises

Saturday August 21, the Wish One Gravel Race “from Causses to Aubrac” kept all its promises, both in the difficulty of the event and in the commitment of the participants.

With high-level athletes at the start of the race (three former winners of the Etape du Tour in the men's race: Tao Quemere, Loic Herbreteau and Cédrick Dubois, and elite runners in the women's race) the two Komoot courses: 100 km/2200 m d+ and 170 km/3600 m d+, offered an ideal playing field for a great fight between the contenders for victory.

The magnificent landscapes of Aveyron, the beautiful paths and the routes rustic, the difference in level, the chrono sections (two for the 100 km, four for the 170 km) and the heat made this day of racing even more epic.

Note that in the women's race, Nathalie Baillon won the 170 km just two days after completing the Tour du Mont Blanc. route in 15h.
