Fabulous 10th edition for Anjou Vélo Vintage 2021! After two long years of waiting, 9 participants covered 800 kilometers with the carefree and light-hearted nature of yesteryear rediscovered.

On the village Vintage, nearly 30 festival-goers enjoyed the hundred exhibitors and second-hand dealers, music and dancing with 000 artists, and numerous activities during a timeless weekend! All the members of the organization as well as the 200 volunteers involved are delighted that this retro-festive event, which has become a reference on a national scale and even beyond our borders, actively contributes to the attractiveness of the territory and its reputation.

From year to year, Anjou Vélo Vintage develops the cultural dynamism of the city and the attractiveness of the region. This 1st French retro bike event is a major asset for the image of the territory. Its incredible enthusiasm this year, in a still delicate health context, confirms the quality of welcome of the City of Saumur and the Saumur Val de Loire Urban Community. Retro bike rides on the banks of the Loire, entertainment, flea market, guinguette, music, dancing, Anjou sweetness, exceptional heritage, local gastronomy, Saumur wines… Everything comes together to attract even more enthusiasts every year! Mandatory health pass to participate in the routes and wearing a mask imposed on the Village and the main arteries of the city allowed everyone to enjoy the weekend with peace of mind.

A new start this year with Eddy Namo and 65 km of happiness through the vineyards and the Saumur countryside, the surroundings of the Rou Marson castle and even inside the Bioparc, the only troglodyte zoo in the world! Enough to complete an already well-stocked range of routes from 30 to 130 km, between the banks of the Loire and heritage! Change of scenery with the stagLindy Up and Charleston dance classes, from beginner to advanced levels, offered by the Bordeaux Swing company throughout the weekend at the Théâtre du Dôme in Saumur.

The village opened its doors for 3 days from 16 p.m. on Friday until 20 p.m. on Sunday with roaming entertainment and swing dance demos in the unique and offbeat atmosphere of Anjou Vélo Vin.tage! The incredible enthusiasm of exhibitors, artists, partners and volunteers makes Anjou Vélo Vintagand an exceptional event for hikers and visitors who went back in time for three days, heading to the Belle Époque! Everyone contributed greatly to the success of this event, including the entertainment offered in the village which will leave indelible memories for everyone!
