Specialized today officially presents the colors of the bikes of the teams that benefit from its technical support for the 2022 season. Highly anticipated, the new Tarmac S-Works SL7 from TotalEnergies, and the – distinctive – one of Peter Sagan, the new member of the Vendée team.

Daniel Oss, Peter Sagan and Maciej Bodnar are choice reinforcements for Jean-René Bernaudeau's team (in the background).The colours of the bikes were hotly debated between Specialized, the sports management and TotalEnergies managers.The TotalEnergies team riders will start the season with the Shimano Dura-Ace 11-speed groupset.The Tarmac SL7 places great emphasis on integration, making it very versatile.Riders have the choice of all saddles from the equipment manufacturer Specialized.It is not yet known whether the team colors will be offered by Specialized on production bikes.Pro bikes are overwhelmingly equipped with disc brakes in 2022.In this version, the Tarmac S-Works SL7 weighs 7,1 kg complete.Antony Turgis got his new bike at the end of October, in order to best prepare for the classics season.Peter Sagan gets a special colorway.Like all TotalEnergies riders, the bike is still mounted with Shimano 11-speed. Riders will have the choice of wheels, between the Roval Rapide CLX or the Roval Alpinist CLX, which are exclusively clinchers.Peter Sagan's bike should easily stand out in the pelotons.
