Cyclo Tour Rotor: a successful 3rd round

After Viré (71) and La Canourgue (48), it was in Lons-le-Saunier (39), on the Cyclosportive de la Vache qui Rit, that we found our participants this Sunday. In total, there were nearly 1 enthusiasts taking the start of the 300 courses specially designed for them, under the Jura sun.

3 COURSES FOR ALL LEVELS

For the second edition of the Cyclosportive de la Vache qui Rit, the organization proposed 3 courses earning points for the Cyclo'Tour Rotor Challenge: 84km & 1m of D+ for the smallest, 100km & 116m of D+ for the medium and 1km & 600m of D+ for the largest. Courses covering the routes Jura to discover the natural riches of the department with in particular its lakes, its vineyards, its farms and dairy farms, its archaeological sites or even the crossing of Baume-les-Messieurs, one of the most beautiful villages in France. Once again, the cyclists were amazed!

A NECK-AND-ELBROOK PODIUM

With respective times of 4h36 and 5h24, Damien PONCET and Avril LAHEURTE won the Grand Parcours. On the Moyen Parcours side, Hugo PIGEON and Baptiste LOMBARDI finished neck and neck with a time of 2h51, followed by Rosalie BELIARD in the women's race, in 3h15. Finally on the Petit Parcours, Théophile VASSALE and Yann BATHET won with a time of 2h19. Laura LIARD won in the women's race in 2h40.

CYCLO'TOUR ROTOR RANKING

At the end of this 3rd round, Cédric RICHARD, who came 4th today on the Grand Parcours, took the place of men's leader, alongside Marguerite MULHAUS in the women's category and Yann PRUAL in the masters over 50s.
