It's the cycling event of the end of the year, the favorite reality TV show for cycling enthusiasts. The Zwift Academy Road gave its verdict this weekend and honored two Zwifters who each won a professional contract after 8 weeks of challenges. At the start of the school year, the CANYON//SRAM Racing (women) and Alpecin-Deceuninck Development (men) teams will each welcome a new recruit for the season, and more if they like. In its 7 years of existence, the Zwift Academy talent detection program has proven itself in unearthing talented cyclists from the Zwift community. Morrice and Vergallito are now walking in the footsteps of Jay Vine and Ella Harris, two cyclists detected by the Zwift Academy Road and now reconnus.
This year's two winners were able to stand out among the 160 participants in the 000 edition on Zwift first, then in Denia (Spain) for the finals.
