Tour de France 2023: the two wild cards awarded to Uno-X and Israel-Premier Tech

In addition to the 18 World Tour teams and Lotto DSNY and TotalEnergies, automatically selected thanks to their first two positions in the second division team ranking, Uno-X and Israel-Premier Tech have been selected by the organizers to participate in the 2023 Tour de France.

Israel-Premier Tech have been relegated to the second division for 2023, but continue to have strong arguments with the presence in their squad of Chris Froome, Jakob Fuglsang, Dylan Teuns, Simon Clarke and Hugo Houle.

The Norwegian team Uno-X will make its first appearance on the Tour de France, and will rely on Alexander Kristoff, winner of Milan-San Remo in 2014 and the Tour of Flanders the following year, as well as four stages of the Tour during his career, as well as Tobias and Anders Johannessen.

In the end, there will be five French teams in the next edition of the Tour de France (four in the World Tour + TotalEnergies) compared to six in 2022 after the disappearance of the B&B Hotels team.
