ENVE partners with UAE Team Emirates as wheel and cockpit supplier

ENVE has partnered with UAE Team Emirates and UAE Team ADQ programs as a wheel and cockpit (stem + handlebar) supplier under a multi-year agreement.

The team of two-time Tour de France winner Tadej Pogacar will have the full range of wheels from route Tubeless SES for racing and Foundation wheels for training. Riders will also have the option to use ENVE's SES AeroRoad, SES AR and Compact Road handlebars and stems with the In-Route of ENVE which allows a routagand internal.

The partnership sees ENVE re-enter the World Tour through the UAE Men’s and Women’s Teams with a clear focus on performance. Following an extensive objective and subjective review by UAE, which included wind tunnel testing and competition from several leading industry brands, ENVE’s SES range was chosen due to its Real-World Fast performance philosophy that balances aerodynamics, rolling resistance and weight.

« In our Team we are always looking for ways to innovate and use the best possible hardware on the market. The decision to choose ENVE came after several tests carried out on the route and in the wind tunnel and we came to the conclusion that these wheels were among the best available. We are very pleased to partner with a quality brand and we look forward to working together towards many victories in the years to come,” said Mauro Gianetti, UAE Director and Manager.

Since 2016, when ENVE introduced the SES AR, the first wheel designed to deliver aerodynamic efficiency around tubeless tires, the specifics of the SES AR rim have become important performance elements for the entire new SES range. As tubeless tires become a standard in the WorldTour, the SES line has further differentiated itself from other brands, especially in the wind tunnel thanks to its hookless and tubeless-only design.

Previous victories by riders with 28mm tubeless tires have paved the way for a big change in bikes. No matter the terrain, this technology has proven its superiority. ENVE has been a pioneering brand in this field. “After a short break from the World Tour, we couldn’t be more excited about our new partnership with UAE Team Emirates. For ENVE, partnerships at this level allow for product development and validation through test“We are proud to be part of a growing team of talented people with extraordinary capabilities. We look forward to leveraging this collaboration and Tadej Pogačar’s feedback to develop our future products and technologies,” said Jeremy Venz, CEO of ENVE.
