Sunday March 26, 2023, Cannes hosts the Gran Fondo New-York (GFNY) cyclosportive circuit. For this second edition, two routes are offered: a 111 km competition loop with 2 m of D+ who borrows the routes of Haut Var and a 57 km hiking loop with 978 m of D+The competitors will begin by climbing the Tanneron massif, scaling the Grand Duc slope, then will explore the magnificent routes maralpines and varoises, with their balconies on the Mediterranean and the Prealps of the Azur. The GFNY Cannes is one of the many events of the municipal program Cannes, Capital of Outdoor Sports, launched in 2016 by David Lisnard, mayor of Cannes.
