Bytagand the publication “The Cyclo Sud Bourgogne finds its participants again!”
With almost 800 participants on the starting line this Sunday, April 23, all courses combined, the Cyclo Sud Bourgogne is back with its participants and is establishing itself as an essential cyclosportive event at the start of the season.
After a start to the day under the morning mist, the sky quickly lit up to the great delight of the competitors and hikers who came to challenge the routes burgundians. On demanding and hilly courses, the participants took on the most beautiful passes and small routes of the region. Col de Beaufer, de Brancion, du Navois, de la Pistole, des Chèvres, it was necessary to restart at each hill and find the energy necessary to stay in the peloton.

The competitors of the Parcours du Tournugeois (135km & 2m D+) as well as those of the Parcours du Maconnais (200km & 88m D+) did not let up their efforts to reach the finish line in lightning time, bringing rain and bad weather in their wake.
Congratulations to the Belgian Maxim PIRARD for his great victory on the longest course, completing the 135km in 3h39m22s, as well as to Franck LE MAUFF for his 2h30m29s on the Parcours du Maconnais.

In the ladies' category, congratulations to Eva POIROT (4h27m12s) for her victory on the Grand Parcours and to Marina TIGE (2h35m35s) for her great performance on the Parcours du Maconnais.
In addition to the competitors, hundreds of hikers were able to appreciate the charms of the Massif Sud Bourgogne by taking the start of the Parcours du Crémant (52km & 680m D+) and enjoying a marked route in complete safety.
The Cyclo Sud Bourgogne opened the Cycling Challenge calendar with the first round of the Gravel'Tour Cannondale on April 22 and the first round of the Cyclo'Tour Rotor on the 23rd. See you in Banassac next weekend on the Lozérienne Gravel & Cyclo to experience the rest of the season.
