A new jersey for the Tour de France for the Bahrain Victorious team

Team Bahrain Victorious has unveiled the new design that will characterize its Alé kit for the upcoming Tour de France.

The pearl-inspired design pays homage to Bahrain’s rich history of collecting and processing this precious stone. Known as the “Pearl of the Gulf,” Bahrain has a great heritagetage rooted in the thriving pearl industry. Pearl harvesting and processing has in fact been the backbone of Bahrain's economy for centuries, a thriving trading center.

The pearl-inspired design characterizes the new jersey and matching bib shorts, made by Alé, the team's partner. The garments are part of the PR-S collection, which the Verona-based brand dedicates to professional cycling. Cutting-edge aerodynamic research, hi-tech fabrics, flat and riveted seams, racing cut and ergonomics characterize the new jersey. An extremely lightweight garment that will offer the team's cyclists great breathability and comfort.

The elegant design doesn’t just apply to the team’s livery: it’s also found on Merida bikes, Rudy Project helmets and Elite water bottles. Based on shades of pearl grey, the new graphics capture the natural beauty and elegance of these precious stones. Teal accents on the chest, sleeves and socks, symbolise the waters surrounding Bahrain.

Team Bahrain Victorious will present its new kit at the upcoming Tour de France, which will take place from July 1 to 23, 2023.
