A limited edition Canyon Aeroad “Mathieu van der Poel”

On the occasion of the start of the 9th stage of the Tour de France in Saint-Léonard-de-Noblat (the town of Raymond Poulidor, the grandfather of Mathieu van der Poel, who passed away in 2019), Canyon is launching a limited edition of the Canyon Aeroad CFR used by the Dutch champion since the start of the Tour de France.

Combining cutting-edge aerodynamics with advanced adjustability, the Aeroad CFR MVDP is the race bike van der Poel will use on the 2023 Tour stages. And this bike is now available for sale.

This bike stands out with special 3D MVDP logo decals, special edition artwork, dynamic CFR branding and premium finishing that combine to create a stunning overall aesthetic.

World Tour level components

The Aeroad CFR MVDP's equipment is in line with that used by the Dutch champion. The bike consists of the Canyon CP0015 Pro Sport cockpit for a super aggressive riding position with full integration of the brake lines and multiple adjustment possibilities in height and width.

The bike is equipped with the Shimano Dura-Ace 12-speed groupset (with power sensor), and 60mm Dura-Ace wheels. Finally, this exceptional setup is completed by Van der Poel’s signature saddle, the Selle Italia Flite Boost Kit Carbonio Superflow MVDP. With its unique design and ultra-light carbon rails, this is the saddle that MVDP relies on during the biggest races.
