A DREAM DECOR
A preserved natural setting, the Massif des Bauges is the privileged playground of the dVélos Lac d'Annecy. With its many famous passes and its routes winding through forests and mountain pastures, the Bauges Regional Natural Park is a real invitation to travel. Col de Leschaux, du Semnoz or even Pont de l'Abime, the thousand participants expected will discover beautiful routes far from the hustle and bustle of the great Alpine passes.
ATTACK ON THE BAUGES!
A Saturday between dry climbing and gravel courses.
On Saturday, the organization offers participants the chance to warm up on a legendary pass, the Semnoz. With a steep climb of 24km and 1m of D+, the Semnoz Climb will give some indications on the fitness of the participants. This legendary climb, as tough as it is beautiful, will provide runners with a breathtaking panorama at the summit with a 200° view of Lake Annecy, the Bauges Massif, the Alps and Mont Blanc.
With a playground as vast as the Massif des Bauges, it was only natural to highlight its other side, even more natural and unusual! Slightly reworked this year, the 70km and 1m D+ Alpes Aventures Gravel course takes participants to the heart of the Massif on a course made up of 730% paths and 85% routes.
On Sunday, participants will have the choice between three courses.
The Tour du Châtelard (55KM / D+1m) will take participants on a short tour through the valley to the village of Châtelard. After climbing the Montée de la Magand the Col de Leschaux, they will reach this typical Bauges village before letting themselves be carried to the arrival at Lake Annecy.
The Parcours des Bauges (110KM / D+2m) offers a beautiful loop in the heart of the Massif, towards the Pont de l'Abime, the Col de Plainpalais, Aillon le Jeune and Chatelard! The return to Saint-Jorioz via the Col de Leschaux is without great difficulty!
A bodybuilder version of the Parcours des Bauges, the Parcours du Semnoz (130KM / D+2m) will also take participants to the heart of the Massif des Bauges. But before reaching it, they will have to tackle the legendary Col du Semnoz. The key is around 850km of non-stop climbing from the start in Saint-Jorioz! In time trial mode to soak up the competitive spirit, or in hiking mode to enjoy the course and appreciate the scenery, all cyclists are welcome on the dVélos Lac d'Annecy!
