Michele Negri, from Lombardy, won the victory at men's and General classification with a 40-minute lead over French cyclist Thomas Bonaud, second in the general classification.

Winner with an overall time of 15h30m, Michele, 30, a software engineer at NTT Data, said: “ Win the High Route Alpes is really a dream for me, it's like the Tour de France for amateurs, given the route and all the support offered by the organizers. Arriving in Nice was like arriving on the Champs-Élysées. This is the goal I had set for myself this year and for which I trained hard. The race was mentally difficult, with my ranking changing over the stages, so I had to try to stay focused and persevere. »

The women involved in this 2023 edition of the Haute Route Alpes put in a terrific performance with two riders finishing in the top 10 overall. Samantha Arnaudo, from Savigliano, Cuneo, won the women's race and placed eighth overall with a time of 16h45m.

German Janine Meyer, winner of the women's classification in the 2022 edition (21st place in the general classification), took second place and tenth in the general classification with a time of 16h54m.
