Designed for practice on route, on gravel, mountain biking or in the city in intense cold, the season's innovations ensure performance and protection for those who want to pedal all year round.

Very wet conditions or freezing cold can be daunting, but should not stop cyclists from going out. Well-designed, especially with specific layering depending on the intensity of the practice, the collection has the power to motivate them to continue training. It allows them to manage the cold and optimize the heat, in order to create new opportunities to go out.

On clothing and the challenges of variable weather, Karin Johansson, R&D Manager for Materials at POC, explains: “There’s nothing like the satisfaction of braving the elements on a long ride in wet, windy and muddy conditions. Whether you’re a mountain biker or a road biker, route, with the right combination of technical clothing, you can stay warm and dry in cold weather, and thus create new opportunities to get out on your bike.

Staying warm and visible during winter outings is essential. Visibility is a fundamental component of POC's protection and security offering. POC's textile collections manager, Monica Lindstrom, explains: “We wanted to deepen the range with more pieces that inspire riders and give them the confidence to ride safely in all conditions. We know from experience that sometimes the best rides are the ones when the weather is least inviting. Living in Sweden gives us a unique understanding of the effects of cold weather and the importance of visibility for safety.”

Developed to provide warm protection and optimise visibility, the collection uses specific colours to be identifiable in all conditions. It promotes proactivity based on the principle that "The best protection is to avoid accidents".

While cycling outdoors in the winter is a special experience with a unique perspective, some cyclists prefer to ride indoors for reasons of time, efficiency or to pursue certain goals. Virtual races and the appeal of warm training are also reasons to stay indoors.

POC's indoor collection, designed to optimize indoor training sessions and boost performance, uses extremely breathable materials. It is designed for the precise position and intensity of indoor cycling. About the range, Monica Lindstrom, head of textile collections for POC, explains: “Seemingly static, intense indoor sessions are very dynamic. They require a specific cut, weight and breathability, which we have taken into account in the indoor collection.”

Seasonal colors

The range of colours offered by the collection continues POC's goal of evolving the colour palette based on existing tones. More responsible, this approach allows cyclists to match products from current and past seasons. This way, the models can be used for many years.
