Wahoo Releases Update for ELEMNT Computers

Wahoo Fitness Announces All-New Update Ready to Ride of its ELEMNT meters.

Over the past 12 months alone, the functionality of ELEMNT meters has been continually updated with the introduction of Summit Freeride, Summit Segments, support for off-road routes with Trailforks, as well as the ability to perform outdoor workouts via Wahoo SYSTM.

Ready to Ride is a new menu on ELEMNT meters which provides users with quick and intuitive access to all frequently needed functions before a ride, including sensor connection status, route loading and battery status.

At its core is a revamped menu that will optionally be displayed to the user when the meter starts. The revised UI makes it easier to load a planned route or workout and check that the correct sensors are paired. You can also effortlessly view other key data such as GPS signal status, WiFi status, phone connection, and time of day.

As part of the Ready to Ride feature, the battery status of electronic drivetrains (Shimano Di2, SRAM eTAP) is now a data field that can be displayed on any training screen so you can keep an eye on your battery charge throughout your ride. After the ride, you’ll also receive a handy alert on your ride summary screen if the ELEMNT or any paired sensors need to be charged.

Full Ready to Ride ELEMNT updates will be available on ELEMNT ROAM V2 and ELEMNT BOLT V2. Owners of original ELEMNT BOLT and ROAM will benefit from a restructured menu retaining the existing theme.
