A great deal of excitement about the Race Across Paris by Van Rysel 2024!

A beautiful 3rd edition took place in Chantilly for the Race Across Paris by Van Rysel. Despite difficult weather conditions, with cold, rain and mud for the gravel, the competitors kept smiling in a friendly and warm atmosphere.

Some key figures from this edition:

  • More than 600 participants took part in the event, 71% of whom were newcomers.
  • A spectacular increase of more than 140% compared to the 2023 edition
  • 15% of participants are women, demonstrating growing diversity in the world of ultra-distance running
  • 14 different nationalities

Remarkable performances also marked this edition:

  • In the 1000 km category, Damien Vuillier completed the distance in 62 hours and 12 minutes, while Sarah Cinquini was the first woman to finish in 82 hours and 57 minutes.
  • For the 500 km, Vincent Cordier achieved an impressive time of 18 hours and 16 minutes, while Caroline Vandame finished in 26 hours and 12 minutes.
  • Finally, in the 300 km category, Jonast Verest achieved a time of 10 hours and 58 minutes, while Delphine Thirifays finished in 12 hours and 15 minutes.

A highlight of this edition: the presence of the twins LTDG known on social networks in the cycling world, registered as a DUO for the 300 km, won their category, adding a touch of fraternity and friendly competition to the event.

Concerning the gravel, which was the first edition, it was a success: happy participants, many new ones, who came to tester on an accessible and secure event thanks to the “Race Across” format.

The outcome: this edition of the Race Across Paris by Van Rysel was a success on all levels, with exceptional performances, diverse participation and a friendly atmosphere.
