After years of innovation in GPS sports watches that feature long battery life, an easy-to-use interface and robust training software, COROS today announced that it is bringing the same formula to a new solar-powered GPS bike computer, the COROS DURA.

Using simplicity as the guiding principle for its bike computer, COROS prioritizes the rider experience by addressing several frustrations reported by users. This translates into near-infinite battery life, the ability to navigate with Google Maps, lightning-fast download speeds, and more – the innovation of this new computer is unmatched in the GPS computer market.

COROS DURA, the adventure and training companion

The COROS DURA allows you to ride for 120 consecutive hours with full GPS signal on a single charge. The computer's solar panels add up to two hours of activity for every hour of direct sunlight.

Featuring a fully customizable 2,7-inch MIP color touchscreen, viewing data and navigation on the DURA is a breeze. crystal clear when riding outdoors, especially in direct sunlight. Adaptive backlight automatically adjusts screen brightness to ensure clear viewing at night or indoors.

New routes can be easily created in the COROS app or downloaded from apps such as Strava, Ride with GPS and Komoot. If you change your mind mid-route, route, if you search for new destinations on your phone or draw a new route, the COROS DURA will synchronize the updated route in a few seconds.

The COROS DURA also includes a complete training platform at your fingertips with the COROS app and the desktop-based COROS Training Hub, at no additional cost or monthly fee. Athletes looking to get the most out of their training will get comprehensive fitness insights by pairing the DURA with a COROS watch, including performance, recovery, sleep, stress and HRV metrics.

Information and prices

The all-new COROS DURA, priced at EUR 289, went on sale worldwide on June 17, with shipping starting on July 15. DURA includes a proprietary handlebar mount and USB-C charging cable. Like other COROS devices, DURA integrates with leading mapping and analytics tools, including Komoot, Strava, Training Peaks, and Ride with GPS. DURA takes its name from the Spanish word for “a difficult thing.” As its name suggests, DURA is designed to support cyclists no matter how difficult the ride or challenge.
The recommended retail price has been set at €289.
