THE SANFLORAINE STAGE, A RECORD EDITION
What could be better for this 5th round than a race in the heart of Cantal, ranked among the best cyclosportives in France? Garabit Viaduct, Truyère Gorges, Brezons Valley, Tréboul Bridge, Cantal Mountains and even the Planèze crossing: there was no shortage of panoramas along the route this Sunday, to make athletes forget the kilometers to swallow and the summer heat. With more than 970 participants, the Etape Sanfloraine sets a new record this weekend!
3 COURSES REGISTERED FOR THE CYCLO'TOUR CLASSIFIED
This Sunday, August 12, the Etape Sanfloraine (159km), Gorges de la Truyère (122km) and Margeride (86km) courses all earned points for the Cyclo'Tour Classified. On the long course, Maxime Limone won the men's race in 4h34 alongside Elise Cagnard in the women's race, who finished in 5h38. On the Gorges du Tarn, Robin Bourdier finished neck and neck with Rémi Geniesse in 3h31 and was joined on the podium by Lucille Bellelle, the first woman in 4h13. At the end of this 5th round in the Cité du Vent, our leaders remain in the lead and keep their jerseys. We will therefore find Maxence Janodet among the men, Marie Brozzoni among the women and Hervé Gary among the Masters 55 years and over on the next stage!
