With more than favorable weather for this end of the sporting season, the Raid des Alpilles once again broke its participation record this last weekend with no less than 1 registered on the different courses! A great success for the organization and the town of Maussane-les-Alpilles.

GRAVEL FOR ALL
Inaugurated in 2022, gravel has always been very popular on the Raid des Alpilles. So, this year, the organization decided to also open it to hikers. A success since 103 participants responded, alongside the 135 competitors.
Great people on the trails this Saturday to ride on the two proposed courses (68KM & 880M D+ in time trial or hiking and 34km & 500M D+ only in hiking). After 2h19 of racing, it was Romain ARCANGELI and Alexandre DELETTRE who crossed the finish line first, hand in hand, after a great battle with Emeric TURCAT, winner of the previous edition.
In the women's race, Lucile BONNET-GONNET won with a time of 3h01, 10 minutes ahead of her competitor Juliette CESSART.
CANNONDALE GRAVEL'TOUR FINALE
After 7 rounds spread across the territory, this Saturday the Gravel des Alpilles was the support for the final round of the Gravel'Tour Cannondale. To close this season, it is therefore Lionel GENTHON – 5th on the Raid des Alpilles – and Camille GIRAUD who impose themselves as leaders.

MAKE WAY FOR CYCLING, TIMED OR HIKING
Whether in a timed or hiking format, on Sunday the two proposed routes took cyclists towards Les Baux de Provence and the Alpilles Regional Park. On the menu? 96km & 880m of D+ for hikers and 120km & 1m of D+ for competitors. Plenty of time to feast your eyes!
After 3 hours and 05 minutes of racing, it was Maxim PIRARD who took the victory, neck and neck with Nicolas RONDEAU, leader of the Cyclo'Tour Classified.
On the women's side, Céline LE PÊCHEUR finished just ahead of Anne Lise MEISENBURG after 3h35 of racing.
CYCLO'TOUR CLASSIFIED FINALS
After 7 rounds, Sunday the Raid des Alpilles also hosted the final round of the Cyclo'Tour Classified. Second in the cyclosportive and already at the top of the ranking, Nicolas RONDEAU consolidated his place and finished leader of this 2024 season, alongside Marie BROZZONI in the women's category and Hervé GARY in the Masters 50 and over category.
