The 2025 Tour de France will start from the North and return three weeks later to its traditional finale on the Champs-Elysées in Paris, which will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first finish on the most beautiful avenue in the world. After a detour through Normandy and Bretagno, the route will branch off towards the Massif Central before beginning its truly monstrous escapadetagneuse in the Pyrenees, including a return to Superbagnères, 36 years after the Tour last passed through the resort. The riders will then return to Mont Ventoux, where a finish has not been judged since 2013, before a final clash in the Alps, passing through the very difficult Col de la Loze, and a short and nervous stage between Albertville and La Plagne, with 132 km and 4650 m of positive elevation gain.
