They are strong at Giant, like other manufacturers elsewhere: they charge more for equipment made from recycled products than for products made from raw materials!
Besides the eco-friendly bobos, who is going to spend more for the same product in the end? Isn't there a problem in the equation? That's not how they're going to save the planet.

Yes, that's exactly what I criticize, companies want to give themselves a good green image saying "we clean the oceans", "we recycle", "we reduce our CO2 emissions"... but they make you pay more for it!

We must be aware that "cleaning the oceans", "recycling" and "reducing CO2 emissions" have a cost. The most polluting actions are unfortunately also the least expensive. It is up to us to see the world we want to leave behind.
