After winning the title of Île-de-France champion in time trial and on route, he joined the prestigious VC Roubaix in 2004. But a cyclist's career is never a long, quiet river, and David is no exception. Between victories, physical challenges and a bout of mononucleosis that slowed his progress, he nevertheless won around thirty races, accumulating experiences that would mark his approach to the business world.
