Tadej Pogačar and Lotte Kopecky winners of the 2024 GOLDEN BIKE®

This Friday, December 6, 2024, the second Vélo d'Or ceremony was held at the Pavillon Gabriel in Paris. Presented by Claire Bricogne (journalist for L'Équipe) and David Millar (former Scottish cyclist, yellow jersey wearer and stage winner in the three major Tours, ceremony rewarded the greatest runners. Established by Vélo Magazine, this price is reconnaked by runners since 1992.

The laureats

The World Men's Golden Bike®, rewarding the best cyclist of the season, was awarded to Tadej Pogacar. Elected by an international jury of 40 specialist cycling journalists, from 25 countries.

The Women's World Golden Bike®, rewarding the best cyclist of the season, was awarded to Lotte Kopecky. Elected by an international jury composed of 40 specialist cycling journalists from 25 countries.

The Eddy Merckx Trophy for men
, rewarding the best Classics specialist, was awarded to Tadej Pogacar. Elected by an international jury composed of 40 specialist cycling journalists from 25 countries.

The Eddy Merckx Trophy for women, rewarding the best Classics specialist, was awarded to Lotte Kopecky. Elected by an international jury composed of 40 specialist cycling journalists from 25 countries.

The Bernard Hinault Trophy, rewarding the.the best French cyclist on route, was awarded to Romain Bardet. Elected by a jury of 30 French journalists.

The Daniel Morelon Trophy, rewarding the.the best French cyclist in the Olympic disciplines (mountain biking, BMX, track cycling), was awarded to Pauline Ferrand-Prévot. Elected by a jury of 30 French journalists.

The Trophy for the best cyclist in the world in Olympic disciplines (MTB, BMX, Track Cycling) was awarded to Harry Lavreysen. Elected by an international jury composed of 40 specialist cycling journalists from 25 countries.

The Trophy for the best French para-cyclist was assigned to Alexandre Leauté. Elected by a jury of 30 French journalists.

LThe Gino Mäder Prize, rewarding solidarity actions or societal causes carried out by a committed champion, was awarded to Luis Angel Mate. Awarded by a jury composed of personalities from the world of cycling and representatives of the Vélo d'Or® organization and LCL.
