Prologo Dimension R2: innovative design and materials for high performance and maximum lightness

The Dimension was Prologo's first short saddle on the market. Its compact dimensions and innovative V-shaped design made it one of the most appreciated saddles and used by many champions; a true icon on route and off-road. The brand is now launching the Dimension R2.

Designing a new version of a saddle that is already at the cutting edge of technology is always a challenge and, in the case of Dimension, an even more ambitious adventure. But Prologo is used to challenges and the constant search for maximum performance. Careful studies on ergonomics and design, combined with continuous research into new materials, have allowed not only to innovate furthertagand an already iconic saddle, but also to create the most efficient, most comfortable and lightest Dimension ever designed: the Dimension R2.

A new multidisciplinary and unisex saddle, with compact dimensions of 245x143mm and a weight of only 135 grams, a 15% reduction compared to the previous model. Designed for professionals and the most demanding amateurs, always looking for the most efficient and comfortable components, perfect for use on route and off-road.

The Dimension R2 features a completely redesigned front end. The nose width is 40 mm, 30% wider than the previous model, and with a more rounded side profile.

In addition, the central part has been redesigned and has a flat surface, to facilitate an even more advanced and aerodynamic riding position. Innovative design choices studied to further increase the comfort of the saddle, especially when pressing hard on the pedals.

Materials research has played a central role in the evolution of the Dimension R2, with the introduction of a new EVA foam that has allowed the thickness of the padding to be reduced by 20%, whilst maintaining the support and comfort that has always distinguished the Dimension family.

The materials chosen for the shell and the rail are up to par with a model belonging to the high-end range of Prologo saddles. The base is in Long Carbon Fiber injected, a material that offers an excellent compromise between rigidity and comfort, while the rail is available only in the lightest and most performing version in Nack (Nano Carbon Fiber) composed of carbon fibers, Kevlar and aluminum filaments.

The new Dimension R2 is available in two colours, Anthracite and White, both with new elegant and minimalist graphics, with continuous lines that highlight the new shape of the saddle.
