“I use the data from the Garmin Connect app as an objective measure of how my body is responding to my current training load. The data presented in the Garmin Connect app allows me to identify potential external factors (stress, illness, etc.) that may be contributing to fatigue.”
“Training Status is a great summary of multiple data points that tell me if my current program is aligned with my goals. If something seems off—sleep patterns, menstrual cycle, altitude acclimatization, or HRV balance—I can drill down on the data and views to contextualize my training status, get a more complete picture of my health, and identify a potential problem. For example, I consulted my doctor when I saw “Exertion Too Hard” in Garmin Connect and it turned out to be the first signs of an iron deficiency that was impacting my HRV.”
