The Verona brand will be the official supplier of technical clothing to the Danish national teams in various disciplines for the next four seasons. In addition, the collaboration will include the development of a replica collection dedicated to Danish cycling fans.
Alé will equip national team athletes with clothing from its PR-S 2.0 line dedicated to professional cyclists. The garments are made using advanced textile engineering, ensuring high breathability, maximum comfort and durability.
Alessia Piccolo, CEO of APG, the company that owns Alé, said: "It is an honour for us to have been chosen by a federation that has established itself as a leader in track cycling in recent years and that we are sure will achieve excellent results at the next world championships on route. Alé brings all its technologies and know-how to support athletes in achieving their goals.
Ulrich Gorm Albrechtsen, Head of Communications and Business Partnerships at DCU, commented: “We are delighted to start this collaboration with Alé. With their expertise, we have found a strong partner who can develop and produce top-quality clothing for our national teams. The replica collection will also represent a unique opportunity for Danish cycling fans. Alé is one of the leading players in the market and we are proud that they have chosen to work with us. This partnership will allow us to take the next step in developing world-class cycling clothing.”
Later in January, DCU will officially unveil the new clothing model, which will be worn by Danish national team riders in the coming years and made available to fans as part of the replica collection.
