After the official announcement of his return to competition at World Tour level with the Team Picnic PostNL team, Lapierre presented the design of the new Xelius DRS with which Romain Bardet, Warren Barguil and their teammates will ride in 2025.

The Xelius DRS of Team Picnic PostNL features the new colour code and the new strong identity of the racing kit. The base colour is Blue Berry with touches of a lighter and more attractive purplish blue.
The Xelius DRS Team Picnic PostNL also features the famous signature and visual identity of the international team based in the Netherlands with the two orange stripes on the back of the seat tube as well as the team slogan “Keep Challenging” on the top tube. The red fork legs inside the bike fade to blue is a nod to Picnic, the team’s new main co-sponsor. The bike will make its first race appearance at the end of January at the AlUla Tour for men and the UAE Tour for women.
A fusion of the Xelius SL and the Aircode DRS, the Xelius DRS embodies the new vision of performance at the highest level for Lapierre. The unique lines of the 3D Tubular concept, the streamlined silhouette of the front of the bike and the optimized curves of its cockpit, this bike deciphers the codes of victory. The Team Picnic PostNL team knows it perfectly: each element is designed so that Charlotte Kool and Fabio Jakobsen triumph in the sprints. It is also designed to accompany Romain Bardet and Marta Cavalli and the other climbers/adventurers to the summits in montagor on hilly stages.
