These collaborations between brands and teams also allow the equipment to progress, before this progress is passed on to all the manufacturers' ranges. As every year, let's detail the equipment used by the best riders in the world in 2025.

Photos: The photos in this file come from press releases, team websites, brands, or their social networks.

Which equipment manufacturers are most represented in the World Tour? Here is a count for each of the bike stations.

Frames and forks:

This 2025 season sees the big return of the French brand Stone at the highest level with Team Picnic – Post NL, after having been in the background for a year following the end of its contract with Groupama-FDJ at the end of 2023. But the big news could well be the appearance of the Chinese brand XDS Carbon Tech, which replaces Wilier at XDS – Astana. This is a first at this level. While Canyon and Specialized remain the only two brands to equip two teams, it is Scott who is paying the price for this game of musical chairs by disappearing from the list of World Tour equipment.

  • Shimano (13 teams)
  • Sram (4 teams)
  • Campagnolo (1 team)

Pedals:

12 out of 18 teams ride on Shimano pedals, against two teams each for Look, Time and Wahoo Speedplay.

Power sensors:

As with groupsets, Shimano remains officially the leader in the field of power meters, with 11 out of 18 teams. Note however that riders sometimes use other sensors in training, for practical reasons, preference, or reliability. • Continental (7 teams)
  • Vittoria (6 teams)
  • Pirelli (2 team)
  • Specialized (2 teams)
  • Hutchinson (1 team)

Saddles:

Prologo is still the best represented brand at World Tour level, ahead of Fizik, Selle Italia and Specialized. Note an amusing exchange between Visma – Lease a bike and UAE Team Emirates, the two best teams in the field, who move from Fizik to Prologo, and from Prologo to Fizik.

  • Prologo (7 teams)
  • Fizik (4 teams)
  • Selle Italia (3 teams)
  • Specialized (2 teams)
