Details of 2025 AlUla Tour winner Tom Pidcock's race bike

The Addict RC, launched in November 2024, took its first professional victories with Tom Pidcock winning stages 2 and 4 of the AlUla Tour, as well as the overall classification for his Q36.5 Pro Cycling team. Here are the details of his bike.

Weighing in at 5,9 kg, the Addict RC Ultimate marked a milestone in the world of cycling: the route the lightest on the market, with a geometry adapted to racing. Tom Pidcock was able to ride one of the lightest bikes in the peloton, with a 6,8 kg configuration, in accordance with UCI rules.

Although the Addict RC has an impressive weight, it has been designed first and foremost as a race bike: incredibly light and agile, yet stiff and stable for unrivalled racing performance. Tom Pidcock, who testHe was the RC Addict for the first time in January, commented: “From the first ride, the Addict RC impressed me. It’s light and agile and gives me confidence on the descents. That’s what you want in a bike, confidence.”

The ideal testing ground for the RC Addict

Heading into the final climb, the course of stage two of the AlUla Tour provided the perfect testing ground for the Addict RC’s lightness and manoeuvrability. The race was decided in the final kilometre with an average gradient of 15%. Pidcock was well positioned at the start of this final kilometre and launched a blistering attack with 500m to go to take the win.

For stage 4, the riders faced their biggest challenge 11km from the finish, where the percentagestagThey were largely in double digits over 2 km. When the route started to climb to 10% and more, Pidcock led the group, taking advantage of his Addict RC to impose his train. For the remaining 8km, Tom maintained his lead to win the stage and a second victory for Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team.

This victory gave him an advantagetage considerable time that the team protected until Stage 5 to win the overall classification – a first for Pidcock as an elite rider, and a fantastic achievement for his new team.

The celebrations were bytaged from all sides as Italian Matteo Moschetti stormed into the sprint of stage five. Matteo was well positioned and reached insane speeds on his Foil RC to take the win. After two fourth places already, it was a very emotional victory after the Italian’s serious training accident in July 2024.

Race leader Tom Pidcock was relieved after the finish of a tough final stage: “I’m a little emotional here because it’s almost a fairy tale. The way we rode as a team today! I didn’t know these guys until December or I only met some of them in January. What we’re already doing together and the way we’re riding together is just incredible.”

“It’s hard to believe. What a week,” Moschetti reacted immediately after the arrival. “Our goal was to keep Tom safe. In the end, he rewarded us for everything we did for him this week. I have to thank him and the whole team. When UAE started the sprint, I was very close to the barriers, but I passed them with good speed and passed Molano in the last meters. What a sprint. Last year I went through a very difficult time, and I can’t believe it today.”
