Since its first appearance in 2002, the Pinarello Dogma has established itself as an essential reference. Designed to meet the demands of professional riders, it has accompanied the greatest champions, notably those of the INEOS Grenadiers team, in their victories in the biggest races, such as the Tour de France.
With this new model, simply called New Dogma F, Pinarello pays homage to more than two decades of innovation while looking resolutely towards the future.

This bike is not a simple update of the previous version that appeared in 2021, but a real technical revolutionDeveloped in close collaboration with professional runners, it benefits from their feedback, for optimal performance on all terrains.
It should also be noted that INEOS Grenadiers riders use this bike on all types of routes, from Milan-Sanremo to the Tour de France, including Paris-Roubaix and the Tour of Flanders.

The technical innovations of the Pinarello New Dogma F
The new Dogma F stands out with a series of technical improvements designed to place it at the top of the hierarchy of road bikes. route. Here are the main points to remember:
1. A lighter frame thanks to Torayca M40X fiber
Pinarello has opted for a new carbon fiber, Torayca M40X, which replaces the T1100 1K fiber used on previous models. This fiber, testée on the Dogma X-Light previously, offers a very high traction modulus, allowing to reduce weight while increasing lateral rigidity.
Result: the frame in size 53 goes from 850 g to only 742g, a significant reduction that improves the bike's handling and responsiveness.
What is Torayca M40X fiber? The Torayca M40X is part of the Torayca MX series, a range of new generation carbon fibers developed by the Japanese company Toray to meet the growing needs of industries (aeronautics, automotive, sports) requiring light, strong and rigid materials. This fiber is the result of advanced technological innovations, particularly in terms of controlling the crystalline structures of graphite at the nanometric scale. Improved tensile strength : Torayca M40X offers an increase in tensile strength of approximately 30% over conventional carbon fibers, while maintaining an equivalent or higher modulus of elasticity. High modulus of elasticity : with a modulus of elasticity exceeding 350 GPa, this fiber guarantees exceptional rigidity, essential for applications requiring optimal power transmission, such as bicycle frames. Light : thanks to an optimized density, the Torayca M40X allows to reduce the weight of the components without compromising their solidity. Nanoalloy Technology : Toray uses its proprietary Nanoalloy technology to improve the properties of the resin used in prepregs, thereby enhancing compressive and impact resistance. |
2. Optimized aerodynamics for marginal gains
Aerodynamics are at the heart of Pinarello's concerns, and the Dogma F is no exception. Engineers have redesigned several elements to reduce drag and improve air penetration:
- The down tube has been redesigned on its upper part. At the bottom bracket level, the brand announces an improvement in aerodynamics of 1,2% thanks to optimized shapes.
- The steering tube has been refined 8 mm, reducing the frontal surface and optimizing the passage of the sheaths, now integrated at the front for better fluidity.
- Pinarello's iconic new Onda fork adopts a more tapered design with an offset of 47 mm (compared to 43 mm previously), improving both aerodynamics and stability, particularly on technical descents.

These improvements allow the New Dogma F to be 0,2% more aerodynamic than its predecessor according to Pinarello. This is a gain that may seem marginal but which is made on a frame that is already very efficient at this level. The Dogma is thus one of the most efficient multi-purpose bikes in the field., just behind pure aero bikes.
3. Even more versatility
Pinarello designed the New Dogma F as a bike that can do it all: climb, descend, sprint or ride on the flat. This versatility is enhanced by:
- Compatibility with tires up to 32 mm, thanks to a widened fork and chainstays, offering more comfort and grip on routes varied.
- Optimized geometry, developed from data collected from the 2022 Tour de France, including from riders like Geraint Thomas. Engineers analyzed where energy was lost to maximize the bike's efficiency in all situations.

4. In every detail
Pinarello has left nothing to chance, and every detail of the New Dogma F has been designed to optimize performance and aesthetics:
- The seat post clamp is fully integrated, reducing weight and improving design cleanliness.

- The thru-axle mounting brackets are closed, contributing to better aerodynamics.

- The new Talon Ultra Fast cockpit is lighter and more aerodynamic, with a 7° flare for perfect alignment of the brake levers with the limits of the UCI regulations. Since many riders are now used to riding with the grips facing inwards.

Performance in figures
Here is a summary of the technical gains of the New Dogma F compared to its predecessor:
- Reduced total weight : 108 g less on the frame/fork assembly, and up to 175 g less for a complete bike with equal equipment.
- Improved aerodynamics : 0,2% overall gain, with specific improvements in key areas like the down tube and head tube.
- Increased rigidity : Thanks to the Torayca M40X fiber, the frame offers better power transmission, ideal for sprints and technical climbs.
A mesmerizing design: Italian elegance
The Dogma F doesn't just perform. He is also an object of desire. With its clean lines and the brand's signature asymmetrical design, it embodies the Italian elegance that Pinarello is renowned for. The finishes add a touch of sophistication, while customization options allow you to create a unique bike.

High-end equipment
The Pinarello New Dogma F is only available with a high-end groupset, whether Campagnolo, Sram or Shimano.. It is also available as a frame kit, for those who want a montage personalized. And in 11 sizes and 7 colors. Almost a record in the industry. Our bike of test, in the INEOS Grenadiers colourway, is equipped like that of the pro team, with the exception of the saddle (a Most saddle rather than a Prologo) and... the gears!

Le Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 groupset is here associated with the wheels of the same brand, with 50 mm high rims, and Continental GP 5000 S TR tires. A reliable and versatile set, also chosen by INEOS. But just like the WorldTour team, it is possible to choose the bike with lighter Princeton wheels, but which still significantly increase the price.
With such equipment, our bike test poster 7 kg just without pedals in size 53. A weight that can be lowered further with a real montage tubeless, since for practical reasons the tires are equipped with inner tubes. And you can go well below 6,8 kg with Princeton wheels, or by opting for another paint, such as the finish Black on Black at Pinarello.

The Pinarello New Dogma F thus comes closer to the lightest bikes used at the highest level, while taking care of its aerodynamics.
Rigidity and stability still on the agenda
All the changes made to this new Dogma have not radically changed the character. reconnaked of this exceptional machine. Rigidity and stability predominate, despite a lighter frame and a slight evolution of the geometry, especially in terms of fork offset. It improves handling, whether in tight curves or to get the bike dancing again on steep slopes, but without losing the legendary balance of Pinarello bikes at high speed.

In terms of dynamic behavior, Dogma F seems like sheath along the entire length of its wheelbase. There is no feeling of weakness or shift in stiffness in any part of the bike or component. But it is not absolute stiffness. Or totally inflexible.
Many very high-end bikes offer a slight lateral springiness when you stand up on the pedals, which gives a feeling of dynamism. The Dogma F, at least since the previous generation, is no exception. This not only makes it very efficient at high intensity, but also relatively accessible at a more leisurely paceMore concretely, if the bike seems to stiffen as you apply power, it remains relatively soft under the pedal during recovery phases.

This reactive behavior of the framework – some would use the term vivant – even offers a little tolerance in the event of a gear error. You don't have to spin your legs very fast to enjoy the Dogma F.. It is only when you try to start abruptly from a very high gear that the bike calls you to order. And it still requires good coordination between the upper and lower body to be launched at full speed.
When riding hard, intentionally or not with a high gear, the bike continues to go straight without giving the impression of coming apart.
“The tubes are massive and profiled, but the frame is stiff and light overall. The combination is a winner.”
On the climbs, the new Dogma F demonstrates much more capabilities than its general lines suggest. The tubes are massive and profiled, but the frame is rigid and light overall. The combination is a winner here, even with 50 mm wheels, which do not penalize the machine below slopes of 8 to 10%.
In terms of comfort, the 28 tires and the general architecture of the frame provide a good compromise for a machine of this caliber. The filtrations are correctly attenuated, so that you can easily envisage long outings of more than five hours on its handlebars.

And speaking of the pilot's positiontage, it took us some time to get used to the pronounced flare, with a much narrower upper part than the lower part. A characteristic that provides a more aerodynamic position with the hands on the handlebars, but also less lever arm when you stand up. However, the fact remains that Ergonomically, this cockpit is very well designed.. Everything seems to fall into place, in such a way as to accentuate if not the comfort of the bike, at least the pleasure felt each time you ride it.
Balance at all levelstages
Lighter, more aerodynamic, more manoeuvrable, but also still as rigid and stable without forgetting a touch of comfort, the new Pinarello Dogma F symbolises the quintessence of the high-end bike in 2025.. It is dedicated to high competition, of course, but it can also be appreciated in a more contemplative way. Because it belongs to the category of exceptional machines. It is as good as it is beautiful.
It is also a very expensive bike. Probably inaccessible for many riders. But nothing prevents us from dreaming, no ?
