Gravel has grown from a niche activity to one of the most dynamic cycling disciplines in the world. Its appeal lies in the freedom to explore routes beyond the tarmac while still offering the thrill of competition. Today, gravel can be divided into two categories: adventure and speed.

Racing is part of the very essence of Orbea. Its history is marked by the development of innovative products and by accompanying elite athletes on their path to victory. It is with this philosophy that the brand launches into the competitive Gravel category, with a group of high-level athletes who will represent Orbea in the most prestigious events in the world.

The Basque brand is pleased to announce its Gravel athletes, who bring all their experience and talent to the discipline:

● Griffin Easter (USA): will compete in the Lifetime Grand Prix and European Gravel events.
● Morgan Aguirre (United States): female rider who will compete in the Gravel Series, Lifetime Grand Prix and UCI events.
● Lawrence Naesen (Belgium): former professional cyclist on route who will participate in the Gravel Series, Lifetime Grand Prix and UCI events.
● Luis Ángel Maté (Spain): former professional cyclist on route which will focus on high-level gravel races and bikepacking adventures.
