Athlete Intelligence : It is an AI (Artificial Intelligence) powered feature of Strava, which analyzes and summarizes key points for subscribers.

=> New in XNUMX : The feature now integrates virtual race and ride data, power insights, and segment analysis. Additionally, it has now moved out of beta. This decision was made based on specific criteria, such as similar positive feedback between running and cycling activities, as well as more accurate analytics with fewer errors.

Integrity of rankings : Strava has improved the quality of leaderboards by identifying unrealistic speeds, GPS errors, and other anomalies that can skew results. The goal is to ensure a fair competition for all athletes by removing outliers and potential rule violations.

=> New in XNUMX : Every activity uploaded to Strava is now automatically analyzed by the machine learning model, which looks at 57 different factors, such as speed and acceleration, to detect if any part of the activity was recorded in a vehicle. If the system detects a vehicle, the activity is flagged and the user is prompted to crop it or make it private. This technology will also be applied to prevent bike rides from appearing in running leaderboards and e-bikes from appearing in cycling leaderboards. This initiative is part of ongoing efforts to ensure leaderboards are fair and reflect real-world performance.
