While there are plenty of reasons to love this bike, what really sets the Topstone Carbon apart from other gravel bikes is its suspension systems. Kingpin et Lefty Oliver, totally unique in their kind. When it comes to riding on trails, suspension not only provides comfort and control, but also greater speed.
By absorbing bumps and vibrations, and allowing the wheels to follow the ground smoothly, you get better traction, better cornering grip and greater speed on mixed surfaces. Suspension simply improves the ride on trails.

Now let's get into the details...
KingPin
The Topstone Carbon wouldn't be a Topstone Carbon without KingPin, Cannondale's innovative rear suspension for gravel. A pivot in the seat tube, along with precise shaping of the carbon tubes and layups, allows the bike's rear triangle and seatpost to flex in unison, providing up to 30mm of travel to smooth out bumps.
The KingPin system provides optimum comfort, lateral stiffness, efficient pedaling and reduced weight, making the Topstone Carbon ideal for long endurance rides and technical trails. The Kingpin system on the new Topstone Carbon has been refined to provide an even smoother and more compliant ride on all frame sizes.

Lefty Oliver
Up front, some Topstone Carbon bikes feature the third generation of Lefty Oliver, Cannondale's ultra-light single-sided suspension fork specially designed for GravelCelebrating its 10th anniversary, the Lefty Oliver is better than ever!
Updated with 40mm of travel and an all-new shock tuning, the latest Lefty Oliver delivers unmatched responsiveness, stability and control on mixed surfaces. The Lefty Oliver is smoother, faster, and ready to take on tougher gravel terrain.

Optimized driving
Speaking of efficiency to improve the pilotage, Cannondale has refined its construction Proportional Response size specific on the new Topstone Carbon. Everything from carbon composition to geometry is carefully tuned to frame size to ensure the bike and its KingPin suspension deliver a ride that's perfectly optimized for your size.

Tire clearance
With clearance for tires up to 52mm in the rear and 56mm in the front, the Topstone Carbon is ready for anything. Since a suspension fork does not require as much tire volume, the Lefty models offer 6mm clearance for a 700x47mm tire at the front.

Back to basics
Topstone Carbon emphasizes simplicity and compatibility. In addition to a rear suspension system that requires no adjustment and virtually no regular maintenance, the bike is equipped with a threaded BSA bottom bracket, a standard seatpost and external saddle clamp, a standard spoked rear wheel and a universal derailleur hanger.
The easy-to-use internal cable routing of the rod conceal through the frame, helps keep things tidy and streamlined.

Storage
Let's not forget your gear. The Topstone Carbon is equipped with the tall new storage system StashPort from Cannondale, perfectly integrated into the down tube of the bike. Paired with the custom StashBag, the StashPort storage system keeps essentials secure for any outing.
Plus, with plenty of mounts on the frame and fork, the Topstone is ready to carry tons of gear for the biggest adventures.
