New Sirin PRO saddles for female cyclists

The Sirin PRO saddles, available in Team and Performance versions, have been designed specifically for female cyclists, combining comfort and performance.

A key component of a bicycle, the saddle is the first point of contact with the rider and directly impacts the riding experience, potentially hindering or enhancing performance. Until recently, women, especially those aiming for high performance in sprinting or racing, had limited options when it came to suitable saddles.

The PRO Sirin Team and Performance models meet this demand with a shape designed for women, allowing a more aerodynamic and aggressive position while preserving comfort.

Their development is based on data from thousands of postural studies from bikefitting.com. The PRO team collaborated with a female pelvic floor specialist and a group of testto refine the design.

The result: a narrow 35mm saddle nose, an angular front-to-rear transition, a raised rear profile, and a 32mm center cutout. Dual-density EVA foam, firmer at the rear than the front, and rounded edges of the cutout optimize comfort.

Made with quality materials, the Sirin PRO saddles incorporate a carbon-reinforced shell, lightweight EVA padding and a durable, ergonomically applied PU cover.

They are equipped with carbon rails for the Team version and stainless steel rails for the Performance version, and are available in two widths: 152 mm or 162 mm.

The name “Sirin” refers to a mythological creature that is half-woman, half-bird, known for its stealth and speed. According to Niek Verbakel, Marketing Manager at PRO, “ These saddles were designed from the ground up to meet the needs of elite female cyclists, with unique features like the bridgeless cutout. They aim to support intense efforts, whether climbing, sprinting, or in breakaways, while offering increased comfort."
