Zwift Companion reaches a milestone
The Zwift Companion app is getting a major overhaul to become an even more powerful toolStarting April 8, users will enjoy a modernized design that puts performance first. New features include the ability to set personalized weekly goals based on time, distance, calories burned, stress points, or kilojoules expended.

But that's not all : The app introduces the Training Score, a simple and intuitive metric that assesses long-term fitness by combining workout volume and intensity into a single daily number. In addition, there is Training Status, an indicator based on training load over 42 days (long term) and fatigue over 7 days (short term). This status is divided into five levels:
- Ready : ready to (re)start.
- Fresh : in great shape for a challenge.
- Productive : constant training, optimal recovery.
- Overreaching : intense effort, rest necessary.
- Detraining : loss of form due to a drop in activity.

For a more holistic view of progress, Zwift Companion now integrates data from outdoor rides recorded via Garmin and Wahoo devices (compatibility with Hammerhead planned for this summer)Once permissions are enabled in Zwift Connections, this data will be added to Training Score and Training Status. Zwifters will also be able to view their weekly training history directly in the app.

A second update, planned for the summer, will take things even further with improved screens to track long-term fitness trends, including changes to Training Score, Training Status, and weekly Streaks. Bonus for subscribers: each kilometer run outdoors will earn 5 XP, and outdoor outings will help maintain Streaks (series of consecutive workouts).
Streaks, a growing phenomenon
Streaks have become a real motivator. Currently, 53% of active Zwifters maintain a streak of at least 4 weeks, and 9% have a streak of 6 months or more! To celebrate this assiduity, the Streak Flair is making its debut: an option that can be activated in Fun Settings to proudly display your streak in Watopia. Associated rewards include:
- 4 weeks : Scotty medallion.
- 12 weeks : Scotty keychain.
- 24 weeks : Animated Scotty waving.
A redesigned interface (HUD) starting this spring
Zwift's HUD is evolving with community-favored features. Splits (laps) are finally here: activated via the action bar, they display time, distance, average power and average heart rate – ideal for interval training.

Another new feature: the display of critical powers (5s, 60s, 5min, 20min).
The top left corner of the HUD becomes fully customizable with new indicators such as left/right power balance, average w/kg, average speed, weighted power (NP), body temperature and Heat Strain Index (HSI), thanks to the integration of CORE sensors.
Explore new routes in France
From April 7, the France map expands with eight new routes, including several cobbled sectors to vibrate to the rhythm of Paris-Roubaix Women with Zwift. A challenge Route Chaser Challenge will offer XP bonuses to explorers of these courses.

The Ven Top pass also benefits from an update: timed segments visible in the HUD (as on the Alpe du Zwift) and a reward wheel at the summit for the most daring climbers.

Le Zwift Ride improves
For users of the Zwift Ride, a welcome option: adjustable cranks (160, 165, 170, 172.5, 175 mm) will be available for purchase from April 16 on zwift.com at a price of €99,99. Enough to adjust your equipment to perfection.

With this update, Zwift pushes the boundaries of connected training, combining innovation, personalization, and fun.
