Bytagand the publication "Tour of the Basque Country 2025: route and participants"
The 2025 Tour of the Basque Country / Itzulia Basque Country takes place from this Monday, April 7th, until Saturday, April 12th. The event will be broadcast on Eurosport and Eurosport max every afternoon. The list of possible successors to Juan Ayuso, winner in 2024, is long, with a quality start list, bringing together both climbers and punchers preparing for the Ardennes classics. João Almeida, Isaac Del Toro, Marc Soler, Enric Mas, Pello Bilbao, Ben Healy, and Sepp Kuss will be particularly worth watching, as will Marc Hirschi and Thibau Nys. On the French side, Romain Grégoire, Warren Barguil, Victor Lafay, Guillaume Martin and especially Julian Alaphilippe should be close to the leading roles throughout a week which begins with a 16 km time trial.
