Garmin Varia Vue: The game-changing light camera for cyclists
Garmin® has just unveiled the Varia™ Vue, a new accessory that combines a 600 lumen front light with a 4K camera (memory card not included). Designed to boost cyclists' safety and visibility, this device promises to capture every moment on the route while illuminating your path. Bonus: It connects to the Varia RCT715 (sold separately) to film from two angles.
Susan Lyman, vice president of marketing at Garmin, does not hide her enthusiasm: “ With the Varia Vue, you can ride with peace of mind. The light makes you visible, and the camera records everything in high definition. It's a new weapon in our cycling arsenal for riding with confidence. »
A camera that sees everything
Whether you're cycling in the city or in the great outdoors, the Varia Vue films in 4K with electronic stabilization for sharp images. An incident on the route Don't panic: the camera automatically detects and saves key moments before, during, and after. Connect it to Wi-Fi®, and your videos land directly in Garmin Vault (with subscription). Once home, the Varia app lets you review everything and edit your shots.
A fire that adapts
Day or night, this smart light adjusts its 600 lumens across five modes. Paired with a compatible Edge® computer, it adapts its output to your speed and ambient light. Its anti-glare beam avoids disturbing others—a real plus for riding in harmony.
The little extras that count
Solid autonomy : up to 7 hours in daytime flash mode with video, 9 hours without light. And it even works while charging for long rides.
Easy control : Adjust camera and traffic light from your Edge or the Varia app.
Built-in sound : a hidden microphone picks up every noise clearly.
Quick setup : Edge support adapts in the blink of an eye.
