The 2027 World Championships in Haute-Savoie Mont-Blanc presented

Dates: August 24 – September 5, 2027

The 2027 UCI Cycling World Championships will be held in Haute-Savoie, with a route including the famous Côte de Domancy, renamed “ Route Bernard Hinault" in tribute to his victory in 1980. A delegation from the Organizing Committee recently walked this route, offering a glimpse of this event scheduled for August 24 to September 5, 2027.

A world-class event

Just over two years before this event, Haute-Savoie and France have unveiled the outline of this exceptional competition. Bringing together 20 UCI World Championships, it will welcome 10 athletes, award 000 rainbow jerseys, and 281 medals over 843 days. Five Olympic disciplines will also serve as qualifiers for the Los Angeles 13 Olympic Games. The event aims to be inclusive, sustainable, and accessible, bringing together all cycling disciplines.

Haute-Savoie, a welcoming land

Sallanches will be a key venue for the competition, but the entire Haute-Savoie region will be mobilized with 12 competition venues, mainly grouped around a central hub to facilitate the reception of athletes, delegations, and media. The natural setting, with Mont Blanc, lakes, and varied landscapes, will provide a unique backdrop. A visit to the Olympic velodrome in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines is also planned for the track events.
