As the 2025 Amstel Gold Race approaches, Q36.5 Pro Cycling prodigy Tom Pidcock will be taking on a unique weapon to defend his title: the SCOTT Addict RC Classics special edition, tailor-made for him.

The Amstel Gold Race, one of the highlights of the spring classics, is upon us. All eyes will be on Tom Pidcock, the 2024 winner and a rising star in cycling. His resounding victory last year, marked by daring attacks, captivated fans. With a recent podium finish at the 2025 Strade Bianche, Pidcock is establishing himself as a clear favorite.testable for the Ardennes.
To support his ambitions, SCOTT unveils a unique edition of the Addict RC, designed to reflect the spirit of the classics. This bike celebrates the diversity of the legendary spring routes, from the dusty paths of the Strade Bianche to the steep climbs of the Mur de Huy, passing through the routesunny Liguria.
A design that tells a story
The Addict RC Classics Edition frame is a work of art, adorned with abstract patterns evoking legendary moments in spring cycling. “We opted for bold shapes and dynamic typography, combined with abstract symbols that capture the essence of each race,” explains Charlotte Pythoud, Senior Graphic Designer at SCOTT Sports. Out with the classic cycling colors, in with vibrant shades of pink and blue, evoking the energy of spring and the momentum of youth.
A precision machine
Lightweight (approximately 6,8 kg in size XS), stiff and agile, the Addict RC is designed to dominate one-day races. With generous tire clearance, it offers the perfect balance between comfort and performance. “This bike is an extension of myself. Its lightness and responsiveness give me an edgetag"It's decisive," says Pidcock, who has already shone with victories at the Flèche Brabançonne (2021), the Strade Bianche (2023) and the Amstel Gold Race (2024).
