Trek Expands Project One Chroma Paint Line

Trek announces the expansion of its prestigious Project One CHROMA paint series, now enriched with eight new colors: Mirror, Gold, Ivy, Pink, Root Beer, Ruby, Sapphire, and Violet. Initially reserved for professional riders on the Trek team, the CHROMA finish has become one of the most popular options in the Project One customization program.

Inspired by the iconic metallic shades of bicycle frames from the 80s and 90s, CHROMA paint revisits this heritagetage with a modern approach. Unlike the chrome plating of yesteryear, Project One's craftsmen spent nearly five years perfecting an innovative technique that was both more environmentally friendly and suitable for carbon fiber frames. This technical challenge required extensive experimentation to ensure a glossy, durable finish.

Launched with great fanfare during the 2021 Tour de France, CHROMA paint immediately won over cycling enthusiasts. With the addition of these eight new colors, enthusiasts now have an even wider range to personalize their bikes.

Available exclusively on the Madone SLR Gen 8 through the Project One program, these new finishes can be ordered at Trek dealers worldwide.

Be careful, the price is very high, with an option at €4200!
