The final stage of the Tour de France will cross the Butte Montmartre three times

As during the Olympic Games last August, the final stage of the 2025 Tour de France will take in Rue Lepic. The peloton will climb Montmartre three times before finishing on the Champs-Élysées. The crowd is expected to turn out there, and perhaps even the punchers, hoping to thwart the sprinters' plans, or even try to tip the scales in the general classification.

ASO, the event's organizer, received the green light from the Paris Prefecture and presented the details of the route for the final stage of the 2025 Tour de France this Wednesday from the capital's City Hall.

After starting in Mantes-la-Ville, the peloton will first complete three laps of the Champs-Élysées. The peloton will then change direction on the fourth lap, passing through Rue Lepic, with a 1,1-kilometer climb at a 5,9% gradient. The circuit will be 17 kilometers long, with the final summit just six kilometers from the finish.
