Pirelli launches the Cinturato EVO TLR, an endurance tire

Pirelli launches the Cinturato™ EVO TLR, a new bicycle tire that succeeds the Cinturato™ Velo, launched in 2018 and which has become a benchmark in its segment. This tubeless-ready model, available in sizes from 700×28 to 700×55, is designed to adapt to a wide range of uses, from route to gravel, including urban mobility.

The Cinturato™ EVO TLR inaugurates the endurance segment on route For bicycles, a concept inspired by motorcycle tires. It combines reliability, puncture resistance, grip, comfort, and durability. Featuring the SmartEVO AS compound, it offers optimal grip on dry or wet surfaces, better vibration absorption, and increased longevity, even on uneven surfaces.

Its tread, inspired by the Scorpion™ Trail III motorcycle tire, features a smooth center zone for wear resistance and sculpted sidewalls for better grip on varied terrain, such as gravel. This design improves durability by 40% compared to the Cinturato™ Velo, according to testPirelli's internals.

Manufactured at the Bollate plant near Milan, this tire stands out for its environmental commitment. It contains over 50% bio-sourced and recycled materials, verified by Bureau Veritas according to ISO 14021. It is also the first Pirelli bicycle tire to incorporate FSC™-certified natural rubber, guaranteeing responsible supply chain management. A specific logo, representing two arrows in a circle, signals this commitment to a circular economy, complementing the FSC™ logo.

The Cinturato™ EVO TLR is available online and in specialist stores in sizes 28-622, 30-622, 32-622, 35-622 and 40-622, in black, as well as in Classic and Retrò versions for sizes 28, 30 and 32. Sizes 45-622, 50-622 and 55-622 will be available later in the season.
