Bytager the publication "Look unveils the 795 Blade RS The Art Of Cycling x Jay Kaes"
LOOK Cycle presents a special edition of the 795 Blade RS, created in partnership with London-based glitch pop artist Jay Kaes. Limited to 50 hand-painted frames, The Art Of Cycling × Jay Kaes series combines French cycling engineering with contemporary aesthetics, transforming this racing bike into a unique piece.
Each pack includes a carbon frame and fork, an integrated aero handlebar and stem, a carbon seatpost, a pair of limited edition Keo Blade Ceramic Ti pedals featuring Jay Kaes' Glitch Pop design, and an A4 poster featuring the frame's graphic.
A frame as a work of art
The collaboration began at Rouleur Live 2024, where Jay Kaes painted two frames live. Each production frame is hand-finished in LOOK's Nevers workshops, with a design inspired by Mondrian's colors reimagined in a Glitch Pop style. The 50 individually numbered copies feature slight variations, making each piece unique.
Performance and aesthetics
The frame is based on the 795 Blade RS platform, used by the Cofidis team in the UCI World Tour. It features a 1.5K high-modulus carbon construction, wind tunnel-optimized profiled tubes, and an integrated cockpit, providing an optimal balance between stiffness and weight for high-level competition.
Federico Musi, CEO of LOOK Cycle, said: “ This project transposes art onto a functional racing frame, showing that advanced engineering can combine with artistic creativity. »
Jay Kaes commented: “ I sought to capture the dynamism of cycling through shapes and colors, creating an object that is both functional and visually cultural. »
