MyWhoosh Championship 2025: Virtual cycling pushes the boundaries with a $1 million prize pool

MyWhoosh, the leading free virtual cycling platform, is proud to announce the launch of its flagship event, the MyWhoosh 2025 Championship, which will be held from August 12 to 19, 2025. After a first edition in 2023 that made a lasting impression with a record prize pool of one million dollars, MyWhoosh is preparing to bring together the best virtual cyclists in the world for the most prestigious event in the history of cycling esports.

MyWhoosh Announces $2025 Million 1 Championship

An inclusive and fair competition

True to its commitment to inclusivity, MyWhoosh will split its $2025 million prize pool equally between the women's and men's categories. Participants who complete the event will receive exclusive MyWhoosh Championships gear, while the fastest riders across all seven stages, in six distinct categories, will be crowned 10 MyWhoosh Champions. The top 7 individuals and top XNUMX teams in each category will be recognized, with special prizes for:

  • Best sprinter (Sprint)
  • Best climber (KOM/QOM)
  • Top 3 of each stage
  • Best master runner (45 years and over)
  • Best Young Player (Under 23)
  • Best Runner in the Gulf Region (GCC)

A demanding seven-stage format

The 2025 MyWhoosh Championship will feature an intense eight-day format, with 440 km and over 5 m of climbing for the men, and 000 km with over 340 m of climbing for the women. Riders will compete on varied courses, including flat sprints, mountain stagestagand time trials, through spectacular virtual worlds.

Men's Program:

Stage 1 (August 12): Japan – 56,3 km, 460 m
Stage 2 (August 13): Arabia – 65 km, 419 m
Stage 3 (August 14): Al-Ula – 55 km, 392 m
Stage 4 (August 15): Zurich – 80,8 km, 1 m
Stage 5 (August 16): Japan – 66,2 km, 1 m
Rest day (August 17)
Stage 6 (August 18): Australia (TT) – 33,6 km, 600 m
Stage 7 (August 19): Colombia – 83,4 km, 293 m

Women's Program:

Stage 1 (August 12): Japan – 43,2 km, 355 m
Stage 2 (August 13): Arab – 65 km, 419 m
Stage 3 (August 14): Al-Ula – 44,3 km, 363 m
Stage 4 (August 15): Zurich – 53,9 km, 932 m
Stage 5 (August 16): Japan – 45,5 km, 1 m
Rest day (August 17)
Stage 6 (August 18): Australia (TT) – 33,6 km, 600 m
Stage 7 (August 19): Colombia – 55,6 km, 195 m

Registrations and qualifications

Registration will open on June 23, 2025, and close on August 3, 2025, via the official MyWhoosh Championships page. All participants will need to complete the MyWhoosh Power Passport to be eligible, except for riders who have participated in the Sunday Race Club (SRC) within the last three months, who are automatically qualified.
