Garmin® announces the Edge® MTB, a compact GPS bike computer designed specifically for mountain biking. Developed to support mountain bikers on the trail, this model features color maps, activity profiles for enduro and downhill riding, and first-in-class 5Hz GPS recording for increased track accuracy. With up to 14 hours of battery life in heavy use and 26 hours in power-saving mode, the Edge MTB extends your rides without compromise.

A design adapted to the requirements of mountain biking

  • Rugged: Featuring seven overmolded buttons that resist mud and dust, a screen protected by scratch-resistant Corning® Gorilla® Glass, and a variety of top tube and mountain bike-specific mounting options, the Edge MTB is ready for extreme conditions.
  • Activity Profiles: Enduro mode measures the elevation gain of each descent and the overall route, while Downhill mode automatically records descents, excluding lifts from the statistics.
  • 5 Hz multi-band GPS: offers unparalleled track accuracy, particularly in enduro and downhill, thanks to recording five times more frequently than standard computers.
  • Timing Gates: Allows you to define segments to measure split times in races or training, with real-time tracking of deviations from targets.
  • Advanced Mapping: Includes global Trailforks trail data, popular routes via Trendline™, and TopoActive maps for exploring routes and paths. Forksight mode displays information about upcoming trails (name, elevation, difficulty, etc.).
  • MTB Metrics: Tracks jump count, distance, air time, and Grit® and Flow™ ratings.
  • Safety: Incorporates LiveTrack, incident detection, and is compatible with Varia™ radars and inReach® satellite communicators.
