Two French comedians, Julien Gadiou and Ben Tyler, are embarking on a unique adventure: the Tour du Rire de France en Vélo (The French Comedy Tour by Bike). This ambitious project combines a stand-up comedy tour through 26 French and Swiss cities with a 3-kilometer bike ride, completed in 607 days. From July 34 to August 10, 12, the two artists will cycle and perform on stage, combining physical exertion with comedic performances.

A sporting and humorous odyssey
The Tour du Rire is much more than just a tour. It's a celebration of endurance, freedom, and humor, carried by the power of their legs alone. Without a support car or heavy logistics, Julien and Ben crisscross France, from Fromentine to La Rochelle, from Toulouse to Marseille, via Nice, Lyon, the Alps, and even Geneva and Lausanne.
Their goal: to offer a show every evening in a different city, after reaching the stage by bike.
The duo bytagand his daily adventure on social networks, documenting the landscapes, the meetings, the backstage of the shows and the challenges of the routeThis approach aims to create an authentic connection with the public, who can follow their journey in real time.
A double-sided challenge
Every day, Julien and Ben alternate between the intensity of their stage performances and the physical demands of cycling. This sustained pace tests their ability to maintain the quality of their shows despite fatigue. As Julien Gadiou points out: " My goal is to offer a show that allows the audience to escape, regain energy and leave with a smile. »
The challenge is also logistical. With only two bikes and two bags, the comedians are adopting a minimalist approach, favoring short supply chains and responsible consumption. This tour is intended to be a reconconnection with the territories crossed, while pushing physical and artistic limits.
Two comedians, a complementary duo
Julien Gadiou and Ben Tyler met in Montpellier during a stand-up comedy show. Their complicity and distinct backgrounds create a perfect balance. Julien Gadiou, originally from the south of France, has made a name for himself in comedy clubs in Montpellier and Paris. Winner of the 2024 Fest'Ille Rire competition, he also opened for Roman Frayssinet. His absurd and tender humor, inspired by his youth and family references, captivates with its subtlety.

Former footballer Ben Tyler lived in Canada where he learned stage hypnosis, even taking part in the pre-selections ofAmerica's Got Talent. Back in France, he swapped his bar in Orléans for an 18 km bicycle trip to the Cape of Good Hope. This journey inspires his autobiographical, sincere and introspective stand-up, where the route becomes a metaphor for the quest for identity.

Their complementary strengths make the project rich: Julien manages logistics and communication, while Ben excels in managing the route and rhythm. As Ben explains: “ What's difficult for one person isn't necessarily difficult for another. We complement each other, and that's what makes us strong. »
A tour to follow live
The Tour du Rire will begin on July 10, 2025, at 6:00 a.m. in Nantes' Place Royale, following a launch party the day before. The tour is scheduled to finish on August 12 in the same city. The 22 shows and 3 km of stages include stops in Bordeaux, Toulouse, Marseille, Nice, Grenoble, Lyon, and even Geneva and Lausanne. The duo invites the public to follow their adventure via a digital logbook, combining travel anecdotes, daily challenges, and moments of joy. This transparency strengthens the connection with the spectators, who become invaluable supporters throughout this epic journey.
