For the 2025 cycling season, smart and Trek are teaming up to present a unique version of the smart #5, adorned with Trek's Project One ICON "Couler" design, seen on the Tour de France. This partnership marks the third collaboration between the two brands, following the smart x Trek Madone Gen 8 Ultimate Project One and smart x Trek Rail+ e-MTB projects. This initiative is in line with smart's "open your mind" philosophy, which aims to promote innovative mobility and an active lifestyle.

This special edition of the smart #5, a premium mid-size SUV, adopts the Lidl-Trek team's "Couler" design, characterized by flowing patterns, expressive textures and dynamic painterly touches. This style reflects the spirit of freedom and creativity bytagby smart and Trek.

A collaboration rooted in innovation

Previous collaborations between smart and Trek include the route Madone Gen 8 Ultimate Project One is an electric mountain bike inspired by the smart #5 and #5 BRABUS models. Successfully launched in China, Europe, Hong Kong, and recently in Malaysia, the smart #5 has been well received by the public and the media. This new project reinforces the shared vision of both brands: encouraging an active and limitless lifestyle through unique creations.

Events to celebrate active mobility

In addition, smart and Trek will organize "4+2 lifestyle" events in China and selected international markets.
